Souness the docile prick "he spent £50 million on Fred, should that not be spent on a centre back" Fred, the only main outlay in the summer transfer window. Fucking West Ham wedged out more, dickhead. Pool spent 200 million or thereabouts last summer to even get close to city. We needed midfielders also, so his point is pointless.

Your opinion geo, fair enough. What's suspicious is mentioning Strachan 46 times. Now then, a slight exaggeration there Probably 4 and I deleted one of those from the shout box. Also I am pretty sure I largely withdrew my comments the following day after a visit to the doctors. I'm pretty sure everyone on here can work out that you wouldn't mind Strachan after posting it first time. You're incredibly niave if you don't think that a totally left field suggestion being repeated, isn't going to arouse suspicion. Try engaging your brain and having a think before responding like an adult.

I wouldn't mind Strachan, but I don't think it is the best way forward having given it further thought is what I was essentially saying. Possible you should reconsider trying to glorify "fans throwing bottles" and respond back like an adult. Also there is adult education centres you could apply to attend to address your poor grasp of English. It is "naïve" not niave. Regards

We'd be challenging for trophies if the players had half the passion of the members on here! This is one of the craziest post-match threads I've seen on ROM.

This is some sort of weird parody.

At least when the club was to be sold before the gimps there was some backlash in the stands. Now our club is being totally destroyed and made a laughing stock. This whilst the match going fans just stand and watch an others chase clicks and follows.
Did all the activists piss off and watch fc united. Do the hardcore away fans not want to look fickle like other clubs fans and turn on the club and manager so just continue to support the club through thick and thin while we decent into mediocrity.
I remember as a kid, if you were a united fan you were a joke, clinging onto the hope of a cup win every now and then. I remember being at uni desperate for united to win their first league in years, thinking it would never happen. Then the tide turned and we dominated. Then we got fat and complacent.
How the fuck have we allowed it to all fall to pieces. Everyone is to blame for this shit fest including the fans and even people like gill and I hate to say it Fergie.
The in fighting needs to stop and our passion and anger needs to be out in public on the streets and in the stands. This us our club it shall not be destroyed by a bunch of downright cunts whilst we sit and watch bickering like schoolgirls.
The owners need to go, we need an owner who wants to own the club not just as a cash cow. We need people in the club who are passionate about the club and understand it. Gary Neville, Rio, Vidic, Evera.
If we want our club back we need to fight for it.

To echo the new chap Becks-
Not a single Scouse supporting mate bothered to text or message me to take the piss after this loss. Not one.

This is some sort of weird parody. Wrong. That was in fact very descriptive. What I actually done (rightly or wrongly) was poke a bit of fun at him for what appeared to be (not knowing being a newby) hypocritical comments. However his response to jimmyg was legendary and had me in stitches. There must be room for a bit of craic surely! but it is time to move on from this one so as there is no further misunderstandings.

I've got to a point where I think a former player might be the right call for the manager's job. Mourinho should have been nailed on to have us there or thereabouts once he'd got his first season out of the way, almost a guaranteed title challenge. I genuinely think the job somehow ended up being too much even for him. Like Zidane worked at Madrid, I think somebody who really understands how a Manchester United team should look and feel might be a better choice than the best manager on paper. Ah, now your talking. It's no different to keeping family within a family business, folk who want to protect it.
