To be fair, we were outplayed there quite frequently even during Fergie's time. Sometimes nicked a result, but for some reason we were intimidated by that fixture quite often.
Perhaps it was too early to say it post match, but this game in isolation was something I could live with despite hating that bunch. It's the bigger picture that is worrying here, which is expecting poor, disjointed type of football in every game. This is no different from what we got from United under the previous two managers. We're playing Cardiff next. We might even get a point or three but the football is guaranteed to be fucking awful.

To echo the new chap Becks- Not a single Scouse supporting mate bothered to text or message me to take the piss after this loss. Not one. I honestly think it was the first time that has ever happened. Even a Liverpool supporter a work pretty much just gave me his condolences and moved on. Same here chaps, usually there's a few jokes all over my social media but nothing. Yep, just feeling sorry for us at this stage.

At least when the club was to be sold before the gimps there was some backlash in the stands. Now our club is being totally destroyed and made a laughing stock. This whilst the match going fans just stand and watch an others chase clicks and follows. Did all the activists piss off and watch fc united. Do the hardcore away fans not want to look fickle like other clubs fans and turn on the club and manager so just continue to support the club through thick and thin while we decent into mediocrity. I remember as a kid, if you were a united fan you were a joke, clinging onto the hope of a cup win every now and then. I remember being at uni desperate for united to win their first league in years, thinking it would never happen. Then the tide turned and we dominated. Then we got fat and complacent. How the fuck have we allowed it to all fall to pieces. Everyone is to blame for this shit fest including the fans and even people like gill and I hate to say it Fergie. The in fighting needs to stop and our passion and anger needs to be out in public on the streets and in the stands. This us our club it shall not be destroyed by a bunch of downright cunts whilst we sit and watch bickering like schoolgirls. The owners need to go, we need an owner who wants to own the club not just as a cash cow. We need people in the club who are passionate about the club and understand it. Gary Neville, Rio, Vidic, Evera. If we want our club back we need to fight for it. Good post but that may be a challenge too far. That's the way the game is now. Business. Its made the game what it is for both good and bad.

Yep correct. Total shite is the expectancy. I was actually expecting worse on Sunday in terms of the result and it could easily have been.

While Fergie was still covering the arses of these carpetbaggers they could put their fingers in their ears and ignore the reports of their 'businesses' in the States. There are still some in complete denial now, not so much on here but I've had arguments on other forums with plenty. They usually follow a pattern, starting with this idea that there was always money available during the value years. Some just don't want to entertain the idea that Fergie was less than economical with the truth.

Genuine question Karma, because I can never make up my mind, do you think Fergie didn't have the money to spend or that he honestly didn't believe there was value in the market? I tend to lean towards the later only because of the money that was spent as soon as he left. I'm sure even the mentalists we've got running our asylum would have preferred to have backed Fergie financially in order to keep the squad up to spec than handing an unknown quantity vast sums of money. The money wasn't there imo. I think that's why they allowed themselves to be persuaded to hire Moyes. A safe pair of hands, wouldn't complain too much, with more money he could elevate his 'work'to a top 4 finish every season. I never bought the 5th choice idea either. He was told by Fergie to not sign a new deal. All that cut from the same cloth crap wouldn't have been spun for a guy who was so far down the list. If the owners hadn't been so wrapped up in saving money they would have laughed the idea out of Old Trafford. Didn't they sell loads of bonds as to fund the debt payments? As for the money now, Debt became more manageable. They had to option not to once Fergie left. We still have a debt of just under 500 million.

Fergie clearly got out at the right time. He would have struggled to fall into things as they are now with the astronomical transfer fees being paid. He saw what was happening in the game and recognised it was time to move over in my opinion. He no doubt knew United would have to go the same way to keep up with others. Unfortunately they went the same way and kept up with nobody.

Yeah, Full Time Devils..Adam McKola who goes to every United game home and away in all kinds of weather, works extremely hard on getting views on fan cams- what a mug. Darren Webb, been following United for years, used to have one of the best boozers outside Old Trafford- what a mug. Stephen Howson, goes to every game and works extremely hard on analysis on United for the channel- what a mug. Gaz Drinkwater, excellent radio host on all things United. Works very hard- what a mug Statman Dave, great knowledge of United stats. Author- what a mug But hey...mugs the lot of them 🙄 Is that the same McKola who has nominated himself as "voice of the fans"? Forgot he is the only United fan who works and goes to all games. He mustn't see much given he always has his fone out filming shit. Webby - isn't he a Salford fan now? Howson - Hahahaha. The guy charging other United fans to go for a singsong in the Bishops and other assorted shite. Still, carry on the good work sucking them off. Judging by your use of the word extremely when describing 2 of them, which one are you? Im guessing Howson. Ripped off any fellow fans recently? All you are missing is mentioning Goldbridge and you would have the "triumvirate of tedious, self promoting, twats" as you have been described by more time served Reds. Shame Monty has gone. Anyone else want to defend them??......

Youtube football 'fans' are the absolute worst part of football in 2018.
