It was a great counter and an example of how we need to be putting smaller teams away once we go a goal up. The pass. The finish. The whole damn thing. What’s so hard to enjoy about that? Exactly. It was a swift counter which we made look ridiculously easy.
While no individual part of it was sensational on its own, it all contributed to an excellent goal. The kind of goal we used to score for fun and the kind of goal we should still be seeing us score more often.

They were clearly all talking about the pass from AS. There are only 3 options available here: 1. You cant read 2. You are biased in your view 3. You're a moron Number 3 probably ain't too far away Easy there matey...no need to get silly over this...the original comment was about the pass, which was a simple one for any half decent player but others were talking about the calm finish...maybe you also need to stay calm... I was just returning the compliment Bestie bestowed om me earlier. What's good for the goose...…… Or does being a moderator come with a right to abuse folk? |

TBF Lukaku and his Timberlands nearly fucked the whole thing up at the start. lucky rashford is a lot better than him and recovered the crap pass he received.
while the pass from AS was pretty straight forward, the movement and desire between the 3 was a joy to watch. the calmness of Rashford I have never seen before. lets not argue about stuff going right for us. we have argued enough about the shite we have had to endure so enjoy these times

one more thing. eventhough lukaku almost bottled the counter he pointed with his hand to rashford that he should move into the box. i liked that small detail because it showed lukakus awareness but also his confidence that he will do something on that right side and bring the ball in to the lads in the penalty area.
just a minor thing but i liked it
