A Matic replacement is important; now the attack is firing, it's probably second priority after a CB. Previously when I thought we needed a big-name attacker I thought we might have to soldier on for another year, but now hopefully not. Bigger priorities than a midfielder tbf.

Like I say, I think only CB is bigger in terms of incomings. GK obviously fine (unless you want to count DDG's new contract, in which case it rockets to absolute #1 top priority by a mile), I think the full backs are doing well and have bags of potential, and the attack is looking great right now, with a pretty decent bench too. I stand by my plan for the summer window: £25m Alderwiereld, £50m-ish Ndombele, £125m Dybala. £200m to turn us into a real force IMO.

Both LVG and Jose were handed a ton of money to spend on their first summer transfer windows with us. Maybe it won't be 200mil, but it could easily be around 150mil. The most unrealistic thing in that post is Dybala, unfortunately.

Depends how much we have. City or Liverpool wouldn't flinch at that summer spending at all.

I just think that amount of money would seriously tempt Juve.

Why would they let Dybala leave for only 20 mill more? They don't need the money. And have plenty of other players they will sell this summer even if they did need to raise funds. Anything less than 150/175mill should raise eyebrows for a top player with his best years ahead of him, who has given no inclination he wants to leave & still has at least 3 years left on his contract.
