I was going to ask a similar question but with Citeh winning the Quadruple...
I am torn...don’t want Citeh equalling or bettering our Treble but I cannot countenance the vermin winning the league...
My best scenario is that we win the FA Cup and Citeh win the league...

Yes, I'm hoping that it's us who have a direct influence on how things turn out by taking points off Pool at least in the league and no doubt having to play City IF we get past Chelsea. We could well end up cheering on Chelsea if they knock us out of the cup !Which isn't a palatable scenario whatsoever! As for the offence this thread has obviously caused, the man baby is far more offensive than me asking a fair question and no I didn't even click it!  |

This is vile. Gun to my head I think I'd rather Liverpool win the league than City win the treble. It'll be horrible but at least it's only one team and one year (hopefully). If City matched our treble, or bettered it, it'd just be a whole new level.
Basically, if I can only have one, I'd rather have an unmatched treble than a scouse fucking up the league yet again.
Horrible, horrible thought though, and your post has reminded me that this really is a big possibility. We're basically relying on City fucking up the CL again, unless we can stop them there or in the cup, or they and Liverpool will probably have a clean sweep between them.
If Liverpool and City have to take all the trophies between them, the best scenario is Liverpool win the CL and City win the domestic 3. That way our treble is unmatched and Liverpool go 1 further ahead of us in a competition they were already ahead of us in.
