At some point these need to be compiled into their own thread.

If we would of beat Burnley the other night which we defo should have, we would of been joint points with Chelsea, I know we are only 2 behind them anyway but who the fuck would of thought we would have had any chance of top four when he took over, never mind being in with a very good chance after about 5 or 6 weeks

Soundness "Pogba's first touch was poor for the goal!" Is he for real? If that ball doesn't sit up, that pass isn't on!

Shouldn't forget that Mendy should have had at least 3 yellow cards, we should have been playing nearly the entire 2nd half against 10. If they had taken anything out of this game it would have been a travesty.

Lingard was shocking today. When Lingard is bad, he's really bad. Sometimes running a lot is just not enough to cut it at the highest levels. This'll probably prove to be a big win in a tough month, especially on the back of us messing it up and them stepping it up on our games in mid-week. Some players worked their socks off today, which was nice to see (Ander and Matic especially). When Pogba wants to play well, he's an asset.. although I'm almost frustrated by how much better he is now. Also, if reports are true that Young isn't willing to sign a new contract because we've only offered him a 12-month extension then the guy is delusional - he's been a huge liability in recent weeks and needs to wake up and appreciate where he's at

Lingard was shocking today. Noticed he doesn't like to challenge in the air. Fannies out everytime.

Sanchez looked like a broken man when he was coming off. Actually quite sad to see, however he should not he starting games now. Thought the same thing. You’d think our new counter attack with pace on the wings and forward running ahead of him would be right up his alley, but he just doesn’t have it anymore. Which is a shame, because the first 11 looked shattered today, and if Sanchez, Lukaku, Fred, Pereira etc., can’t maintain standards it’s going to catch up to us sooner rather than later.

We're fucked if those represent the cavalry riding to the rescue. I mean, still too early to write off Fred and Pereira, but Alexis actively makes us worse when he plays like we're a man down. Lukaku useful as a sub, a late sub. He created a good shot today that Schmeichel had to save, but he is the type of player who slows us down and as an impact sub you'd think we'd want more pace and dynamism? Maybe he can learn to just hold up the ball. I've seen him make unnecessarily risky passes in the dying minutes when he should just put a fucking boot on the ball and hold it. Fred isn't adapting. Pereira is played out of position.
