Sanchez looked like a broken man when he was coming off. Actually quite sad to see, however he should not he starting games now. When we were losing the ball, he was the main culprit. That was Lingard. Always on his heels today.

Lingard was shocking today. Noticed he doesn't like to challenge in the air. Fannies out everytime. Rashford is the same.

Today is the type of win that eventually gets you challenging for titles. A tough away win against a team with a very good record against the top 6.

That was Lingard. Always on his heels today. True, both at it. The other thing that massively pissed me off was the number of times Lingard started to make a run or pointed for a pass only to stop or run a different direction. Really poor performance from him.

I thought we looked a lot more solid with Bailly at the back. We were shit but they never really looked like scoring either.

Thought the same thing. You’d think our new counter attack with pace on the wings and forward running ahead of him would be right up his alley, but he just doesn’t have it anymore. Which is a shame, because the first 11 looked shattered today, and if Sanchez, Lukaku, Fred, Pereira etc., can’t maintain standards it’s going to catch up to us sooner rather than later. We're fucked if those represent the cavalry riding to the rescue. I mean, still too early to write off Fred and Pereira, but Alexis actively makes us worse when he plays like we're a man down. Lukaku useful as a sub, a late sub. He created a good shot today that Schmeichel had to save, but he is the type of player who slows us down and as an impact sub you'd think we'd want more pace and dynamism? Maybe he can learn to just hold up the ball. I've seen him make unnecessarily risky passes in the dying minutes when he should just put a fucking boot on the ball and hold it. Fred isn't adapting. Pereira is played out of position. Holding the ball up requires a first touch, something Lukaku clearly does not possess. He’s the antithesis of the way we are currently trying to play. He’s slow, requires 2/3 touches to control the ball, 2 more to decide what to do with it, and by that time any momentum is gone. I’m not writing Fred and Pereira off long term, but they’ve done nothing to suggest they will be able to spell some of the regulars for a match or two and get the job done. If only there was a period where we could purchase new players who might be able to make a difference between now and the end of the season.

Happy with the result against a decent Leicester team. They are hard to deal with but today with a bunch of our lads underperforming we were lucky. Lingard was physically knackered. Which was weird. His passing and dribbling poor. Young was crap today. Bad movement, bad passing. Sanchez is a lovely statue that sports a United Jersey. What a player he once was.
Hoping Rashford is ok, he was quiet after that knock. Beautiful control for his goal. World class. The goal itself was decent too!

Was at something today with the match on in the background so will have to watch it properly later but one thing stands out-
Sanchez isn’t going to turn this around. If anything he’s getting worse.
