Here's a question.. How many left sided forwards will we need next year? It's a big year for Rashford and Martial IMO.. James looks like a real talent for that left spot where he is most comfortable, but we really do not have a right sided forward or a real central Striker.. Martial is also predominantly a left sided forward like Rashford, but looks the most likely to me in the 9 position and Greenwood looks to be the future there. It's pretty unbalanced though, as it stands. We need a top class striker and a right winger/forward. They can't keep 3 similar players and add those as well, so if Martial or Rashford do not perform this year, it's likely one of them may have to go! I think Chong would currently be the best fit...possibly even Dalot... But either one of them needs an opportunity...I see Greenwood as a central striker and Gomes as no. 10...

Ah, there's no use pretending.

Mundo Deportivo say De Gea’s contract talks have been stalled for months.
(The January 2020 thread is still locked, is now the time to open it and lock this one?)

The Sun say we will have £200m to spend in the summer. This went well.

I don't think he'll sign one and will go on a free.

He will go on a free,Woodward has to shoulder the blame in allowing such a situation to occur,we all used to mock Arsenal when they lost there best players, time after time on free transfers or on the cheap because they had no option but to sell. If DDG's deal remained unsigned at the start of pre season, he should have be sold & either Romero/Henderson given a chance or a credible replacement signed. Herrera was a £40 - £50 mill player allowed to walkout for nothing, even with just with just 6 months on his deal before can sign a pre contract, DDG is worth more than that.

This went well. i think we are at the point where we should all agree that we cant trust the information coming out of the club as reliable... and that includes whatever Ole says too. nothing about DoFs, transfer budget, transfer targets, opinion on players form or existing player's negotiation progress. be it an official line or a "insider source", i trust nothing coming out of the club.

Right, let’s consign another one to the bin. Hopefully the next few windows will yield better results.
They won’t.
