Another good performance. It’s a game you expect to win, but these are often the ones that we slip up in. Couldn’t have gone much better really though, especially with regards to resting players and not having to expend too much energy on our way to the victory.
In terms of negatives, for me it highlighted again what a passenger Lukaku is in this team. He was largely invisible again. Sanchez should’ve scored when he came on. Ian Wright was making a case for him to start over Martial last night on MOTD, not that anything them gobshites say should be taken seriously. Reckoned an overhit cross Martial made would’ve been straight on Lukaku’s head if Sanchez had put it in. Aye, this the same Sanchez that can’t find a teammate two yards away from himself?
Mata was better than against Burnley, but as much as I love him, I wouldn’t be sad to see him go from a footballing perspective at the end of the season. The caliber of man we’d be losing is the real sadness, but he’s just slowed down far too much now. He looks like he’s playing in a charity legends game when he runs.
I’m looking forward to this PSG game. Regardless of what happens, we know we’re going to have a really good go at it. It’s our stiffest test under Ole so far though.

If there was any doubt Wright was full of shit it was his trying to suggest it was a tough call between Sanchez and Martial for PSG. Martial could break his leg in training tomorrow and I’d still start him over Birtles mark 2.

Are people seriously questioning Paul Ince's ability and impact for United? Fucking hell. Short memories. He was brilliant. Wut? Me for example was between the ages of 7 and 13 when he played for United so thats well over half my life ago, of course I don't remember him playing for us

I was fuming with Fergie when we sold him. Fergie got a lot of grief for selling him, Kanchelskis and Hughes.

I remember he got panned in the media. I personally loved Kanchelskis so I was raging 😂

Nice to have you back posting semi-regularly pal. Thanks, appreciate being noticed. Have been through a bit of shit, and with United playing the same, it felt as though it was exacerbating my gloom and I was too much of a miserable bastard for people to want to read my posts!! 😄 Know the feeling, and I’m hardly one to talk about going AWOL for extended periods. Hopefully life sorts itself out in a positive way. 😀
