Lukaku Rash
There are enough days for Matic and Herrera to recover so no rotation to our midfield. You want Hazard to torment Jones again ? Shades of Vidic and Torres! |

I think both teams recent loses will give this game an extra edge. With our SB record, a result here would be amazing although I’d graciously accept defeat if it means we go on to batter the scousers.

If both Martial and Lingard are out then I would set the team up the same way we did vs Arsenal, with Lukaku on the right, Rashford on the left and Sanchez through the middle.

The only time recently that Sanchez has looked like a professional footballer was in preseason. Where he was played centrally. So if injuries leave us with nothing else, try him there. Just not on either wing, it’s pointless.

Just not on either wing, it’s pointless. A front 3 of Rash, Sanchez and Lukaku with similar tactics as against Arsenal is a good possibility and may work. Sanchez in a central role is not a bad idea at all. |

Anyway, reports are that Martial and Lingard are out for this but could be back for the vermin, which isn’t ideal but probably better than expected. |

Though that seems to be irrelevant at their kip against us. Liverpool is the one I’m concerned about in all honesty. The free world needs us to beat them as much as we do to get top 4. |
