Hate to fucking mention him again but Souness embarrassing himself on live TV today was hilarious.
Just went you thought a new level of Scouse delusion couldn't be reached, he gets there the twat!
Vida in the studio looked like he was trying to keep the laughter in! He would have started Gary Nev off 😂

Shows how far we've come since the dark days of Mourinho, we started the game with 2 massive players missing, got 3 more injured just in the first half, played with essentially 10/10.5 men as we had another carrying an injury that would normally have seen him subbed, and yet most people are annoyed we didn't win.
If Mourinho was still here I'd have been just praying we didn't get embarrased, hoping we just lose about 2-0, or maybe 3-1.

Did he touch it with his hands? Thought he went with his legs? He handled it. The commentators were baffled, "must have been for obstruction" FFS, learn the laws of the game!

Ah, but if JM was still here Matic would've been expected to play regardless and don't forget we would have had the Tree to do a job for us as well. So definitely a 5-0 defeat!

To be fair to them I thought De Gea had been fouled & the free kick was going to him. I had barely opened my eyes & put the game on.

Yep. Still furious we let them off the hook.
Fucking Smalling at the end man. Stick out your left leg. Or Lingard, dink it over the 'keeper instead of trying to go around him FFS.

Jose would have parked the bus so as much as some would like to think otherwise we wouldn’t have been embarrassed. We would have also still had Fellaini. He would have been useful yesterday actually! Another thing, if Jose was still here there’s no way we would have gone through January without signing someone. A caretaker gave the gimps a perfect excuse not to spend. Anyway it’s all ifs and buts . We move on.

The difference being this was a positive draw, full of determination and intent and roared on by a passionate and engaged crowd, as opposed to a robotic, tooth-drawingly painful, tepid affair in a morgue-like stadium.

Anyway it’s all ifs and buts . We move on. This is prime conjecture. Mourinho got spanked by Spurs and the scum with his strongest teams out. His negative tactics are the main reason we were shit. Ole set up to go at them at the counter and pressure them while they were on the ball. Under Mourinho it was stagnant and static. Also, I have to say I thank every God in existence that Fellaini wasn't there yesterday so someone like Mourinho couldn't resort to lumping him up the pitch. Ole put Pereira on and he repaid his faith in full and then some. Mourinho would never have got us playing the way we have yesterday. Never in a million years. Mourinho's previous Jan signing has sort of stunk the place up over the past year , he wouldn't have been given a penny to spend either.

Anyway it’s all ifs and buts . We move on. Yeah. This is all nonsense. Jose tried the parking the bus thing at Anfield. We all know how that worked out. Fellaini would have been drafted in instead of Matic and arguably Liverpool's worst midfield of my lifetime in Henderson and Milner would have likely destroyed us. Fellaini, while managing to contribute occasionally, was never actually useful. The Gimps also don't need an excuse not to spend. And I'm still pissed off we didn't win. Compare that feeling to Anfield.
