I like to cut people slack who are generally on the same side as me. And therein lies the problem Not really. I give them a chance. For this infraction I'd give anyone a chance no matter who they are. Having no tolerance policy like is happening here is why Brexit has happened and why Trump is in the white house. Both things I disagree with.

Sometimes the keeper can make a great save though. I think Ole will take the fact we still won, and then look at the feeling of the player and the squad. He won't do anything rash and just pulling it from Pogs could damage the relationship. Its not like Pogba doesn't let feelings affect his game, we saw this under Mourhino. A good man manager senses these things and works accordingly. We'll be fine. At the least I think Ole should tell him to cut out the run up. If he took them properly there’s no reason why he couldn’t have a fantastic strike rate with them. The thing is, even with his daft approach, he gets power in the shot. Either corner and that pen goes in. Unfortunately, he went down the middle. Nice bit of skill from Fred leading to lukakus second. And what a strike from Andreas. Another enjoyable match. Onwards to Paris.

Also, if people have an issue with the word gay being used, in the context of something being described in a very negative way, go to Pro Boards and see what the policy is. This is a fair point, and many words are banned on different sites and can get site owners in trouble if not addressed. For the record, I'm not saying the use is acceptable or should be ignored just that it should be handled sensibly. Me being a user of this site, shouldn't be the one condemning that should come from a mod or admin such as yourself. Any involement from a use on something they don't think is acceptable should be in the form or a private complaint. Or maybe a private word to the person that said the bad thing, being polite and maybe saying they should edit the post. We are just so quick to jump on anyone nowadays when people are from so many different parts of the world and from different backgrounds that there are going to be mistakes from time to time.

Again , sorry but no. If you use words that are deemed racist or homophobic on here you won’t be told privately to edit, you get called out. Sweeping things under the carpet isn’t acceptable. The words are obvious (gay as, fag, the n word etc) so there isn’t any chance of misinterpretation.

Out of all the players currently ruled out we miss Herrera the most. I thought Andreas did a good job today but I would love to see him take Pogbas place vs PSG if Ander is fit 🤞

If you go down the middle you either put it higher so a diving ‘keeper’s trailing foot won’t catch it, or you roll it so the ‘keeper will have dived by the time it reaches the line. He hit it low and hard meaning any way the ‘keeper dived his trailing foot had a good chance of catching it. He does get a lot of power from what he does, but it’s just not necessary. Ronaldo used to do the stop to put off the ‘keeper and see if they revealed which way they were diving (and even that was not wise IMO, but it did have a point to it). The slow steps don’t do that, they just give him less time to run properly at it.

But to repeat- Back to the football please. Yeah... so... - Let's move Sanchez on - just think we've been somewhat unlucky with each other (club and player). - Get Pogba off the penalty list or get him to change his style. - Get Chong and Garner to play more minutes. - Delighted with the 3 points. Arsenal game after PSG will be highly anticipated! - Ole must have the job by now.

It used to never be dull supporting United under SAF. Then under our first 3 managers after him we gained a reputation for being boring. My neutral mates used to hate watching us just because we so rarely played good football, even when we did well.
Win or lose, it certainly isn’t dull under Ole. Obviously winning so much right now helps, but it’s so nice to be exciting again.

I get it that confidence is a huge thing for how he plays... but... agreed wholeheartedly with you and Ronaldo is a great example. Stop useless showboating unless it really helps you get what you / the team needs before what you want.
