Does anyone else think Bertrand was lucky to only get a yellow for that foul ?Looked bad the first time I saw it. It was a bizarre challenge. Had lukaku went down it would've been a contender for straight red If Lukaku wasn’t such a unit it could have been a serious injury. He just bounced off him!😱 Imagine a foul like that on David Silva or a similar player? It would have been a definite red for sure. |

He was legs akimbo once he bounced off him. He should've been sent off if the ref thought he dived just before half-time, though. Though it was a clear pen. |

However, we were lucky neither was a pen I think any time Smalling goes near someone in the box it is presumed to be a foul. It would have been a soft one imo. |

Jones has scored more own goals than Smalling has given away those finds of fouls. Last 2 games Smalling has been excellent prior to this. Ole will have himself to blame if he doesn’t get another CB in the summer. Skertal used to tussel with players every time he went in the box, how many fouls were given against him? |

The whistle has not gone against him, yet. VAR will be the end of Smalling. My concern is that it is a foul. It may not have been called. But its a foul. |

He will be punished. And United will drop points. The run of play is bad enough, the corner kicks will end him. He grabs with both arms and both hands. |
