The statements are a load of shit and just stink of both trying to save themselves. He wasn’t cleared of anything for starters.
You really think Greenwood would just accept leaving and the club would lose an asset like him if both sides felt he’d truly done nothing he was accused of?

• We were provided with alternative explanations for the audio recording, which was a short excerpt from a much longer recording, and for the images posted online.
• The alleged victim's family participated in the process and were given the opportunity to review and correct our factual findings.
The above is Arnold's "evidence" for concluding that Greenwood was innocent and wanting to reinstate him into the team before the public backlash.
Months of investigations and this is the best we could come up with.

He wasn't CLEARED of all charges. Charges were DROPPED because as Arnold's statement makes clear the alleged victim told the police not to continue the investigation and without her testimony in court they were never going to be able to prosecute.

Not making excuses for recent performances but Im hoping this is a weight off the squads shoulders aswell as I'd imagine this has all taken its toll on them aswell.
