Lingard was and Rashford is trash this evening. Unless Lingard is 100% fit he’s actually no use at all. His running and pressing are an assest but when he’s not firing on all cylinders his game is very short of the required standard. Ole needs to shoulder some of the blame for this I’m afraid. Unless the players coming back from injury conned him in training then Ole and the staff should have seen they weren’t on it at all. Very disappointing. A waste of a victory at the Bridge. Ed and his wretched masters have a huge amount of work to do. I’m sure they thought they were getting off Scott free again for their utter uselessness but there’s a lot of work needed. |

Knew this was a hard game but they have not help themselves been reminiscent of LVG at times, over passing it, no pace, no risk. I know we have injuries but fucking hell that was poor. Maybe they are running on empty but Confidence now fucked top four looking like a mountain. Back to earth with a crash after PSG , GUTTED

Team played lifelessly today. Had hoped Matic/Ander would have been replaced by Mata and Fred to be aggressive. Just shows we need a few more players and a healthy Lukaku might have helped.

I'd still sell Pogba this summer. Only turns up when he feels like it. We won in Paris despite him. He hasn't turned up since. Thought the same. |

Martial, Lingard, they took the absolute piss.
Matic couldn't keep it on the pitch, he was woeful.
As I said, Pogba trying to rampage up the middle backfired spectacularly, then he disappears from the game.
Fuck the lot of 'em apart from Romero, infuriating.

The only big game i can remember him turning up is when we came back against city. Great when he deigns to turn up. Sadly that isn't often enough. Imagine Robson in this day and age? |

He winds me up, even during that winning run he plays a stinker for 30 mins but somehow scores or creates something and people cant wait to wet themselves over it. I think hes too inconsistent to be one of the worlds best players and I always think we are a better side without him or when he plays very high up the pitch. I dont get the hype. |

I’m fed up of waiting for Lingard to actually contribute something other than passing the ball back to the person he received it from, Martial, Pogba ineffective but we are asking the same players to do something special in every game, we don’t have quality in depth.
Tactically we were rubbish tonight, too slow and predictable.
