Glad that is over. Their goal was fantastic but they were so wasteful.
We need to up our game all across the board. Glad Rashford and Martial scored though and over the moon for Shaw. He barely put a foot wrong.

Not to mention we have 6 English players in our lineup who didn’t even play over the break. That’s what I meant. The amount of sickies we pulled should’ve meant a refreshed and energetic performance today. Exact opposite. It can be quite common for non-energetic performances to happen when it's a 3pm kick off at home at OT on a Saturday, believe me

Most of these players have had 2 weeks off. They’re playing like they spent it lying on a beach somewhere pounding beers. Not to mention we have 6 English players in our lineup who didn’t even play over the break. Im just hoping these players didn't raise their game just to prove a point against Mourinho. They need to he doing that week in week out because the last 3 performances have been awful and have gone backwards to how we started when Ole came in. Hope Ole gives it to them.

I am more confident they'll figure it out vs Barce than I am with the bottom 14. We have a weird bunch of lads here.

also if you're aware that its an expression, please tell me what it means for you? It means "OK" pretty much everywhere other than where you are from apparently. There we go. In the context of everyone saying how shit we were, I stated that Shaw has been half decent (OK), it s a compliment, he didn't exactly set the world alight but out of a bad bunch he done well. Now get back on your high horse

McTominay and Fred with energy and no flair plugged up PSG. Since then, Matic, Herrera, and Pogba have been slow and off the defensive pace. Somewhere in there anongst all the options is pace, industry, and flair. These last 3 matches have shown that Matic and Herrera cannot carry Pogba defensively and Pogba cannot carry ALL the offensive thrust from Midfield. Something needs to give.

Top heavy football team .. We have very good attackers and finishers and they don't hence the score
Midfield was bossed totally by Arsenal, Wolves and now Watford FFS. You get away with it against this lot with fuck all to play for not against a good team with a good MF up for it.
Spurs will probably lose tomorrow so it's a good result at the end of the day!

That's the sort of performance I would expect from the whole team week in week out, and good performances are those above that in my opinion. Sorry if you feel he set the world alight, he didn't.

But we aren't talking about the whole team. We are talking about one player. He was excellent the full game, the fact that he was able to add to that with his outstanding pass for Rashfords goal was fantastic. Considering he won the ball himself and brought it forward, made it all the more excellent. But of course, you expect that kind of pass week in week out so obviously the rest of us won't match the lofty standards you require...from your left back. Pull the other one.

This is not a squad full of world beaters. Ole has gotten the most out of them and now it’s time to start replacing them with more talented, in a lot of cases younger more mobile players who fit Ole’s style of play. The first half of the season did in fact happen, and wasn’t completely on Mourinho. The players marked their own cards and a lot of them have struggled to rub that out. There are plenty of outgoings/incomings that need to happen this summer so Ed had better have his chequebook at the ready.
