was it not? That's the sort of performance I would expect from the whole team week in week out, and good performances are those above that in my opinion. Sorry if you feel he set the world alight, he didn't. But we aren't talking about the whole team. We are talking about one player. He was excellent the full game, the fact that he was able to add to that with his outstanding pass for Rashfords goal was fantastic. Considering he won the ball himself and brought it forward, made it all the more excellent. But of course, you expect that kind of pass week in week out so obviously the rest of us won't match the lofty standards you require...from your left back. Pull the other one. I could understand if everyone was praising Shaw, and then to say he was playing ok, that wouldn't have been a compliment. But I said it when people were saying how shit we were, therefore I was merely stating, that Shaw has stood out, out of a bad bunch. If you really feel the need to pick holes in me giving the lad a compliment when the consensus of the chat was how dire we were playing then so be it. But I didn't feel the need to pick you up on your comment that Pogba needs to be more conservative. Instead I replied to smithy that I understood what you were saying. So please in the future do me the favour of reading between the fucking lines and not take everything so literally. |

I left for the pub with about half hour to go, but for as much possession as Watford had did ddg have to make a decent save? Was a poor performance especialy the whole of midfield, but coming towards te end of the season I will take 3 point whichever way it comes.

It was a poor performance on the whole but there was still some very good football played at times from the attack. Shows what they're capable of. Also saw something on twitter that with Martial and Rashford scoring we're the first side in the league this season to have 4 players on 10+ goals. Which is incredible when you remember how shit some of the football was earlier in the season.
We do need the midfield to step up more, the last few games they've struggled massively. That's the area of the pitch which has looked our biggest problem in the last few games, even more so than defence.

If we could replace for better I defo would, I love both players and also their attitude is brilliant, but if it was a case of getting a upgrade on them I defo would, if ander doesn't sign rice or Neves, would be a perfect replacement and then replace Matic next season |
