We were second best for the first 25 mins. It was bizarre to watch the utter panic we had in possession and the shambles out of possession. Then boom Shaw wins a ball and releases Rashford with an unbelieveable pass. We really are a Jekyll and Hyde team.

Mata’s receive and turn his back to goal move doesn’t work for him anymore. Still prefer him as a CAM and not a RW. He has a role if OGS will use him. CAM to unlock the teams that bunker with 10 behind the ball. Youd have to imagine that next season will see more of the Mourinho Bus against United. So Mata should be a real a help. |

Awful first 25mins, much better since the goal. Few good bits of movement going forwards. Pretty good at the back aswell just lacking inbetween, losing the ball far too much.
Love Mata but he isn't a winger. Would have to liked to see one or two of the youngsters on the bench just in case as well.

We shit the bed against anyone they know they should be beating. This squad has to shake off 3 seasons of counter attacking and learn how to play on the front foot. The bottom half usually do not allow that counter attacking. |
