That was a dreadful half of football. Play like that against Barca and the tie will be over within the first 20 min. Our problem isn't against bigger teams. We shit the bed against anyone they know they should be beating. It’s more the complete lack of a midfield presence allowing the opposition to apply wave after wave of pressure. Messi and co are not going to politely pass to De Gea like Watford did. |

We need an upgrade on Matic and that RW has been neglected too long. Mata isn’t the answer! 2 positions that would improve with better replacements! |

Mata’s receive and turn his back to goal move doesn’t work for him anymore. Still prefer him as a CAM and not a RW. He has a role if OGS will use him. CAM to unlock the teams that bunker with 10 behind the ball. Youd have to imagine that next season will see more of the Mourinho Bus against United. So Mata should be a real a help. I agree but he’s pretty crap in the box these days lacks that half step to get a shot away so he turns back to goal. |
