Oh fuck off . Matic in the starting lineup? I hope to heaven he doesn't slow down the tempo.. When the ball gets up to him, he kills any sort of momentum we have pretty much instantly. He's got the tempo of a snail.

Herrera isn’t really a Utd player anymore, we all have to accept that.

Matic thunderbastard to open the scoring today nailed on.

With Valencia, there are footballing reasons to drop him. With Ander, it's bitterness. He's better than Matic and not playing him over it harms the team. Or, we could play neither, and play Pereira and McT. That would also be fine, but given we still have two games a week rotation is required. Herrera being available would directly benefit the team, even if he only plays 30 minutes here and there.

Herrera isn’t really a Utd player anymore, we all have to accept that. He's not the kind of player who would half-arse it. If we played him he would still be an asset, regardless of where he's going. Freezing him out in favour of Matic when top 4 is on a knife edge is cutting off our nose to spite our face.

He's done here. He's gone to the same place as Valencia, it's just PR. With Valencia, there are footballing reasons to drop him. With Ander, it's bitterness. He's better than Matic and not playing him over it harms the team. Nothing to do with bitterness. He's leaving so it is correct we move on. It isn't like we're Arsenal and need Ramsey. Others can do Herrera's role.

Right now I think he would be an asset, with today being a prime example: I think he would play better than Matic, and in a game of fine margins that could make a big difference. Hopefully I'm wrong, but that's the way I see it.

There’s really no point in playing a player you know for sure isn’t going to be here come August. Matic probably shouldn’t be here ten either, but hes more likely to be here than Ander. Plus McTom looked dead on his feet at the final whistle on Tuesday. Could do with the rest.

I hope he doesn't play another game for us if he is indeed leaving. I love him as a player but he has chosen to go.
Rather move on and see who else wants that spot.

It's just a shame, because I think it's the wrong call, and not one I expected Ole to make after Herrera made his intentions clear (if it was him that made it).

Louis Saha talking about Pogba's potential to do this and that. I really wish people would stop using the word potential to describe players in their mid 20's.

Matic thunderbastard to open the scoring today nailed on. That's if he manages to get in range during 90 minutes.

Dont get excited. He is suspended. Incorrect. Not suspended. "I stand corrected" said the man in the Orthopedic shoes!

He has the potential to score or assist in this game. He has the potential to utterly dominate the game. I dont think hes talking about his overall ability.
