Irrespective of the reason whether its contract talks taking the piss or wanting to go elsewhere this is a prime reason why contract negotiations should be stopped during the season. It fuck's with a players focus whether it be because they don't get what they want or because they're unappreciated.
If players contracts need discussing it should be done in the off season so they can focus on the football. Fucking ludicrous that several average at best players are given extensions half way through a season and some of our best have had theirs run right down.
I find letting Herrera's run down 3 months to its end and stalking with De Gea is fucking incredible and shows what ambition they have running this business because its not a football club anymore.

If we qualify for the Europa League our Premier League games move to the Sunday so we'll be playing catch-up.
Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons.
Also, not qualifying for the Champions League is going to have a massive effect on the calibre of player we can hope to bring in.
We're in the mire and next season hasn't even kicked off yet.
Fucking shocking.

Europa League is our level. Same as Chelsea and Arsenal. None of us are currently good enough or deserve to be in the Champions League.
If we can't sign players because we're in the Europa then fuck them. Sign players who want to play for us no matter what and blood the youngsters in the squad.
I'm going to keep repeating the same thing. Build from scratch with a squad of young, hungry players.

That was astoundingly frustrating. First 15 we were actually very good and should have scored two at least. Chelsea were shit all game, don’t think they had a decent chance.
De Gea... I love you but fuck. That’s a diabolical mistake and it’s cost us hugely, Chelsea never threatened at all. Even if we played as shit as we did in the second half, I think we win fairly comfortably ‘cos that was poor from Chelsea.
We were shit in the second half though. Lukaku... get rid. Huge miss right at the start, and spent the rest of the game offside. Rash wasn’t much better but I thought he at least made a good few runs, albeit he messed up a couple himself at the end.
Sanchez and Rojo having to come on didn’t help, and though it was forced by injury Sanchez over Martial was a bad call IMO. Also no idea why McTominay came on for Mata, he’d been one of our better players and we needed a fucking goal.
Just... fuck. It’d be one thing if Hazard were brilliant and we scraped a point, but it was right fucking there for the taking. And we just threw it away.

The sad part is this isn't a shit team of players. 6th is their level. 4th at a steal.
Occassional big results against big teams and bed shitting against lower teams.
De Gea has carried us for so long, gutted he fucked it today but still have faith in him. Hope he re-signs and all that crap is put to bed.

This was the first season in god knows how many years that we should've beaten them on both league games. If you told me when Jose was sacked that DDG's was to potentially cost us a top 4 finish i'd say you were mad, but between his shocker for the 1st goal vs Arsenal away and the one today, he's made some season defining mistakes. |

Feel for Dave. A lonely place in between those sticks with confidence as low as his right now. The level of shit he's getting now after years of world class performances, could you imagine him at Real right now. He'd be absolutely ruined to the point I dont think he would recover.

i think what today and the city game showed the most is the lack of fitness our players have at the moment. last pre season apparently wasnt made for the tactics ole wants. he came in, players were motivated and running the opposition into the ground but sooner or later that had to happen. if you`re not trained for high intensity running you`ll fade away at one point. ole was probably expecting them to carry on as they did in the beginning but it shows now. good performances against city and chelsea in the first half, 2nd half the players couldnt run anymore. gutted for ole here.
i`m not too worried about next season if we bring some good players in. i trust ole to get the pre season he wants out of them. i`m not saying we will already compete but some people in here also need to understand the background and what happened last summer and what carried on until now.
all that said, fucking dissapointed with the game today.

Olé having a laugh with Pedro as he was about to come on, on the sideline with 6 minutes or so to go, and we desperate to focus and try win the game.. Not fucking impressed with that at all.
