Probably won’t bother rivering this, unless the lineup has Greenwood and Chong. I'll be on board the canoe in Brighton, too much at stake to ignore it.

If he played youngsters I'll watch it. If its at least a 60/40 split with shit or Young starts then ill choose to do something more productive.

Valencia nigh enough nailed on to start.
If DDG plays this, he's off.
Team I'd like to see:
Henderson (If he can play post Sheff Utd season)
Valenica Williams Big Vic Shaw
Garner Gomes Mata Herrera
Greenwood Chong

Just on what Ole said in the presser, we all pretty much understand the absolute mire that we're in, but couldn't he have spoofed a small bit more- with a shred more positivity?
I know how much of a fantastic, affable bloke he comes across as, but to me he's unintentionally feeding negative vibes to the media. Which is what exactly what the jurnos want to hear.
When he said chasing the league title would be 'miraculous'.
Okay, it would, but if he continues in this vain pre-season, the fans expectations will be totally on the floor and we'll be totally demoralised before the season starts.
Ole comes across well, PR wise. He's telling it as it is, granted but at least throw in a 'we're going to work tirelessly to improve, we're going to bring in hungry young players, etc...'.
Next it's going to be 'we aspire to be'....Moyesisms.

He needs to keep some thoughts to himself this is obviously one of them.

If he said "we're not far off challenging City and Liverpool" he'd be laughed at and called delusional. We're a 2 to 3 year project minimum guys, make your peace with that or you could end up in a mental institution.

Ole says it would be miraculous if we challenged for the Title next season.
If we do somehow challenge for the Title he'll literally be a miracle worker.
That's just intelligent PR.

He was alluding to the fact that Ole could have shown a bit more positivity, it's a fair comment. He also made a fair point in saying that if Ole keeps on the same track with the media during the summer months that the fans' expectations are going to be absolutely on the floor. It's most probably true but it's kind of sending out the wrong message to the fans. Bit of a positive opinion is good. All managers don't necessarily tell the truth. He's also correct in stating that this could well turn into regular Moyesisms down the line. If people want to be lied to that's fine, I actually find it reassuring that our manager is being honest and realistic. It's a world away from Moyes, he was saying "we aspire to be like City" less than a year after us winning the league by 11 points lol. Sad thing is if a manager were to say it now, it'd hurt but it would be accurate.

Luke Shaw has been wheeled out by the club for an interview on Sky Sports to say that 'everybody in the team cares'.
The people in the club's PR department must be on overtime.

These players would be better served shutting the fuck up and do their talking on the pitch. We aren't stupid, us fans can see the strings, had this BS after the Everton debacle as well that fraud Pogba coming out with the same BS, wish the interviewer was on his last day in the job and would ask the pertinent question "if you care so much Paul how come you've played like a cunt since February?"
