I've seen some of the MUTV footage on various sites after the game, laughing and joking from some of the players, the WAGS etc having a great time on the pitch. Then Lingard gets interviewed in the tunnel with one of the most genuinely insincere interview's I've ever seen. You could sense Lingard was spoofing, then he thinks it's fine and dandy to have a chuckle about this season. The lad has obviously too much on his plate with his clothing line to genuinely care. The current players, WAGS and families are just so detached from genuine United fans it's untrue. As I said a while back, the squad lives in its own version of pampered reality. Blame the club for bubble wrapping this shower of shite in their own alternate universe. We are basically a BTec version of Chelsea. Players (golden eggs) have been elevated beyond their worth. There is an apathy and sense of entitlement running through this squad. Some proper rotten apples. I agree with previous sentiments that Rashford needs to get himself away from certain individuals within the team as well.

‘The 29 defenders who scored more PL goals than Alexis Sanchez this season 5 - Duffy 4 - Ake, Bamba, Boly, Digne, Doherty, Schar, Van Dijk 3 - Cathcart, Clark, Holebas, Jorgensen, Koscielny, Laporte, Luiz, Maguire, Morgan, Tarkowski, Van Arnholt 2 - Alonso, Chambers, Coleman, Dunk, Mustafi, Pereira, Saiss, Valery, Young, Zouma.’ Good grief Sanchez is effectively on half a million a week for scoring a header against Newcastle. 🤦🏻♂️

He is the most successful Instagram model of all time.

At least give him a window or two to correct shit, Christ. The issues are the players, everyone can see that. Give him a chance ffs. True, but do you believe he can turn things around? I think hes going to need alot of help on the coaching and transfer side. Hes completely unproven as a coach and we need a coach because we aint gonna shift everyone. Hes gonna have to get a extra 20-30% out of some players. Pochettino and Brendan Rodgers are coaches and improve players, im not sure Ole can do that. He's not unproven as a coach, he's proven to be a very good one at a lower level. The question at this stage isn't "can he step up" it's "can the club"? In the long term he might be nothing special but currently not his fault for all this. As soon as it is he'll be turfed like the rest of them.

He will be lucky to get a second window with our current form. 8 losses 2 wins 2 draws. It wont be his fault, but he will need years to get this squad right. Problem is unless we stick with one and see it through it'll be rebuild after rebuild. He may not be the right choice but he might be. At least give the guy a chance. He's had very little chance to impact that squad. We all know what they issues are, the manager isn't one of then. Don't fix what isn't broke. Fix the things that are hemorrhaging from the club...the players and their shite attitude. We absolutely cannot rebuild and then stop, appoint someone else who thinks he cam work miracles with the squad and then rebuild again. It'll be disastrous. Stick with Ole and own this rebuild or we are fucked for decades.

Hard to be hopeful with this board, however.

After watching everything related to today's 'performance' against Cardiff online, it just rubber stamps that we really do have a squad of spoilt brats.
As posters have already alluded to, it will be totally forgotten tonight by the bunch of wankers we have in the squad.
Lingard will be looking forward to another photo opportunity with Rashford, bling and his clothing line.
Pogba will be planning his next haircut and Instagram post, etc, etc, etc..
What a bunch of head melters. Gary Nev was correct, absolutely nothing to like with this shower.
We have zero humility or work ethic within the squad, which is absolutely outrageous it really is.

Moving forward, attitude should be the number one consideration when recruiting this summer, and all future windows.
We've brought in entitled, spoilt, moody, shitheads. From Miki, to Martial, to Pogba.
Having the right attitude and willingness to chase lost causes, give your all, never let your head drop, putting the team first is more than half the battle.
Identify these types of players and get them into this club. Yes they need talent as well, of course they do. But we've tried just getting the talented players in and look at the clip of us.

I agree with all you’re saying but I’m curious, how does Miki get lumped in with this? Don’t think he had attitude or motivation issues. He tried his effort was always good but wasn’t a good fit under Jose.

I have no issues with players having outside interests as long as they deliver on the pitch. I really doubt this lot would live like monks under any coach.

I've still not watched anything from yesterday's game but it doesn't sound like we learned anything new. We know that the lions share of this squad will still be here drawing a wage next season, so all we can do is hope that whoever is brought in to accompany them can be a catalyst. Hopefully McT can get more game time as well. He was one of the very few bright spots in the closing stages of the season, and deserves to be immune from the warranted vitriol that the others are receiving.
