just watched ole's interview. i think he handled it pretty well and professional, pretty much what was expected during what was a very difficult conference. only mistake he made in my opinion was the short comment about "the loudest fans usually not being the best fans". not that i was expecting him to say something mind blowing and i also believe he didnt actually mean it that way. i just think it wasnt the smartest usage of words there. sounds like we're in deep shit. no one interested in our dead wood or some of our players being to expensive...no surprise this makes our own transfers even more complicated if we cant even get rid of players. When he said about the loudest fans, I assumed he was aiming it at all the cretins on social media He has a point to be fair. Our players have had nothing but a barrage of abuse on social media over the summer, some of it warranted to a degree, but a lot of it has been nothing but shameful. |

Isn't Ogden actually decent? In these cases it's surely better to blame the player that leaked that, rather than the journalist who's just doing his job of relaying said info - unless it's made up or unfairly blown out of proportion of course, and you could argue the latter (and maybe the former, I dunno) about this case to be fair. |

Only read Ole's quotes but I think it sounds fair enough. It's very rarely right for the manager to lay into the players publicly. He could maybe get away with laying more at the door of Woodward and the Glazers re: transfers, but it's a thin line to walk and I understand why he'd rather not for now, especially as we do still have time to sort it (even if we probably won't).
