Scott Mctominay was 5ft 6ins aged 17 and had a late growth spurt where he is now 6’3 (manunitedzone)

have to say that i`m loving mctominay more and more. still dont know if he will make it properly at united but he has shown lots of promise at the end of last season. and he knows how to speak, doesnt search for excuses, says how good and important it is to have such a tough pre season and that he is used to it anyway from joyce. he looks mature and extremely determined. mentality wise he has everything to become one of those tough and ruthless midfielders we always had in past times. not a jesse type of guy, rather tough, concentrated, mature, extremely hard working. i hope the talent is also there but i really love the guy, fantastic personality.

Considering our flaws and constant failing off the pitch thanks to Dick-ed its been a pretty positive tour on the pitch. Been impressed with most and some have pushed themselves into contention for starting the league.
Far more positives than negatives going into the new season.

Great post. He’s becoming one of my favourite players. All teams need a workhorse, a bit of steel and someone will give constant 7/10 performances. He’s a starter for me this year much rather have him in their than matic

Pre-season has been excellent so far, but remember we were excellent in LVG's first one only to promptly lose at home to Swansea. It's much more about fitness than performance.

Squad to Norway
David De Gea, Lee Grant, Joel Pereira, Sergio Romero; Diogo Dalot, Phil Jones, Victor Lindelof, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Chris Smalling, Axel Tuanzebe, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Ashley Young; Fred, Angel Gomes, Daniel James, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay, Andreas Pereira, Paul Pogba; Tahith Chong, Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford.
No Lukaku. You see how weak our side looks when it's in all its glory like that.

I know pre-season results don’t matter that much, but Liverpool look well off the pace. Mane won’t even return until after the Community Shield.
Given Klopp’s style’s need for a good pre-season, they might also end up being vulnerable this season. If only we were capable of taking advantage of that...
