Nice win today, only preseason and mainly about fitness and building chemistry but the kids all look very promising. I'd have no quams starting Tuanzebe, McTominay, Gomes, Greenwood or Chong this season, AWB and James settling in nicely to. The future could be bright, still would like a few further senior signings to of course.

Things got a bit heated between the fans as expected. Police throwing a few out for fighting in the stands. Leeds supposedly outnumbered United in Perth 7/8-1. Always nice to beat them though My uncle was a Utd season ticket holder for around 30 years. He reckoned he’d been to about 30-40 away grounds in that time, obviously all the regular premier league teams, the ones promoted and god knows how many cup ties over years. He said that the two worst grounds to visit as a Utd fan by an absolute mile were Upton Park and Elland Road. Fucking savages.

Yeah their fans are real scum, always sang about Munich and I believe when Liverpool went to Elland Rd they used to get Hillsborough songs and chants thrown their way as well. Classless fans. I want to see them back in the Prem though, those rivalries make the league better, always a real edge to those matches.

I lived in Plymouth for a while in the early to mid 80’s and was at Home Park a few weeks after the Bradford fire when the visiting Leeds fans set fire to the food caravan at the back of the away terrace. Total fucking morons.

I know what you mean but on the other hand, I want them relegated to the conference...for ever...unless you can guarantee we will give them a shellacking every time we play them...then I'd settle...

Lol yeah it's a catch 22, it's the joy in beating them I'm thinking of but them going out of business would be hilarious also 😂

Police throwing a few out for fighting in the stands. Leeds supposedly outnumbered United in Perth 7/8-1. Always nice to beat them though I was crying laughing in the canteen this afternoon as I read an article that apparently our mascot, Fred the Red, went over and stood in front of the Leeds fans and gave them some serious stick after the game...
...then one Leeds fans chucked his plastic cup of tea at him or something. Very funny.
