Take Matic, Lingard and Axel out (purely cos of lack of prem experience at this time) and replace them with incoming/ young players and that's not a bad line up.

Martial central and Rashford left. Been wanting to see this for ages. Hopefully it's something Ole is seriously considering for next season.

Think this might be the team Ole wants for the season with maybe maguire instead of axel but with a monster performance today axel can affect that.
Expect to see martial and rashford interchanging as they are comfortable on both roles

We'll see this season how big a difference just one quality acquisition in a position desperately in need can make to a team. Wan-Bissaka is going to be huge for us. Such an athlete and brilliant defender.

Obviously results are largely unimportant in pre-season but it's really obvious what our plans are for next season. Pressing so high up the pitch and so aggressively. Definitely a sign of things to come. Like what I'm seeing.
Can't wait to be slagging everyone off after the first game of the season.

Fuck me, we actually look quite good! I don't think the group of players we have are as bad as what last season showed us. I think Mourinho sucked the life out them. I think we are somewhere slightly below from what we see when Ole first took over. |
