Rashford is getting to that age now we're it either all clicks or it doesn't, the goal he scored the other day shows you he has it in his locker, let's just hope he can do that over a full season That Leeds goal was outstanding, a true strikers goal. We need him to do that a lot more but he has it in him. The faster pace will help him a lot. We need to go with a pacy lineup with Chelsea & try to blow them away with high pressing.

Is it safe to say that Greenwood possesses more of the finished product compared to Rasford at the same age? It looks like it to me. Absolutely. Rasher was a great prospect, but I don't think many thought he was ready to make a dent in the first team until we were forced to play him. Even then, goals in his early games aside, it took him a little while to look as composed as Greenwood does in the first team. You could argue that he still doesn't. Greenwood looks like a natural. Like he's been playing first team football for years. Maybe others disagree but I think you're forgetting how Rashford looked in those first 4 months. He looked like a stone cold finisher, but hasn't been one since. Not saying Greenwood is the same, just I think people forget just how good Rashford looked at first.

Rashford was a weird one, if Ashley Fletcher hadn't been loaned out at the time of that injury crisis, he'd have almost certainly come into the side instead of him. Then who knows what happens to Rashford's career. As far as I remember, Marcus had only just been promoted to reserve team and wasn't pulling up any trees.
Greenwood definitely comes with more hype attached because of what he did at youth level. Nobody really knew what to expect with Rashford despite him obviously being talented, whereas everyone is expecting Greenwood to do well because he simply has just looked outstanding at every level.

Rashford hadn't been playing primarily as a striker. He looked like a talented kid and found himself playing number 10 a lot but truth is the jury was still out on him. We all thought he might make it but it didn't feel like a definite. The fact that he exploded onto the first team surprised a lot of people and is an awesome story. I am encouraged by Rashford as there are multiple reports that he is always the last to leave training. Always practicing. Taking extra time on the pitch.
Greenwood has much more natural talent and has matured physically a bit earlier so hopefully we can nurture him into a world class talent. I reckon we just hang the sense of it and get him on as much as possible
