I've been on the Skriniar train for some time, but I'm not so sure after this game. Any player can have a bad game, but the way he handled getting outplayed by teenagers was poor. He probably should have been sent off. Feel bad for Young. I'm not enthused that he's still part of the squad, but he doesn't deserve to get booed. Getting old and shit isn't his fault, it happens to every player. Accepting a contract offered to him isn't his fault, most people would have done the same. Fucking shameful what happened to him today. Booing a player is unacceptable. He shouldn’t be playing though he’s done. The booing should be saved for Ed and the Glazers. Don't agree with the booing myself but he's absolutely done, can't find a red shirt with even a simple pass, can't time a tackle, can't cross or shoot, painful to watch.

What did you make of Greenwood Bestie? I'm super excited about this lad, and for a cynical auld fart like me that's saying something 😂 He's better than Rashford. I loved Rossi though so my hopes are cautiously tempered. I agree, much more of a natural than Rashford for me and I'm a huge fan of Rashford btw. Martial could be sweating, maybe that's the reason for his renewed effort this kid is breathing down all of their necks.

Fucking shameful what happened to him today. Top post. Regardless of his poor form the guy never stop trying to give his all for the cause, filling in positions that weren't naturally his. Whilst you had lazy uninterested cunts like martial skulking around the pitch. It's fuckers like that who should be getting booed. I still don't think that fucker will come good for us, we will probably be looking to offload in the winter window. Fans should lay of Young, its fucking embarrassing.

I'd be happy taking that back 5 into next season if we don't sign an established CB. Mad how much confidence having the right side shut down by AWB gives

If you were to add a Bruno Fernandes to that side and he could get even close to his numbers from the last few seasons then we’d have a damn good side. Totally agree. I wish they'd just get on with that signing.

Don't think this vid will be here a long time before Man United shut it down So enjoy it while you can. Highlights of Mason Some lovely bits on the highlight reel, but that shot at 45 seconds is the one for me. Thus guy is a real talent. Will be great to see a bit more of the lad this season. Heard Chong doesn't have the physique for the premier league and may be put out on loan.......any thoughts? Could both Greenwood and Chong get significant first team game time this season? I certainly hope so but I've not seen any of the pre season games.

I think we should give him plenty of chances. He's a bit hot headed but plenty of ability.

As for Mason, we'll, after watching him quite a lot in the U18 and U23, I didnt want to praise him too much because of the strength of opposition. But the kid just tore the second best defence in Serie A apart, admittedly it was Inters first pre season game, but he showed no fear. If anything the fear was all theirs. He has literally got the world at his feet

There’s not much more i enjoy watching in football than a proper good fullback who can get up and down and tackle!
Greenwood’s a proper striker. It’s crazy how good he looks already. It’s nice watching a striker who moves in the box and that can link play up instead of watching a body building limber about
James will be frustrating this year but you gotta give him chance and let him learn.
I’d send Chong and Gomes out on loan to get regular game time. The midfield and wings are pretty stacked especially if we bring in other players

Didn't watch the game but from what I've read it was fairly impressive and seems to be better prep leading towards the new season. Glad the youngsters are giving Ole food for thought aswell, should give some healthy competition.
As for Young I don't want him anywhere near that side but booing one of our own is unacceptable regardless of who the player is.

Greenwood increasingly has me convinced that he can take Lukaku’s slot in the team. It’s a risk given how desperate we are for goals, but it’d also be a risk to let his talent fester for 2 seasons without regular first team gametime.
We absolutely need experience at the back, but I’m more confident in trusting youth up front. That said, I wouldn’t be against signing Ben Yedder or someone. We do need goals.

You’re also expecting Rashford to take the leap this season. It’s a gamble but you have to take it. same with martial, both need to step up this year I’m not comparing but there are similarities to the summer of 06 and the faith Fergie had in Ronaldo and Rooney. Both showed enough flashes up to that point but they took huge leaps forward that season. You have to hope the club have seen enough to think it could be the same. They’re still kids really but the time is now.
