He froze Smalling out because of his lack of ability on the ball. Easily the worst United CB I’ve seen with the ball at his feet. And you’d probably have to say Southgate was proven right for doing so. AWB is crap at crossing . Still a decent defender. Similar to Smalling. Smalling isn't decent though. |

thanks for the reminder that smalling was crap at crossing....what a crucial trait he missed there. southgate might be a prick but hard to argue against leaving smalling out of the equation. No the point was that one aspect of your game doesn’t mean you can be written off. Smalling is a good defender imo but for some reason he’s another whipping boy. Mind you , there were still some defending Jones 12 months ago despite him being utterly woeful. If the aspect of the game that they’re shit at doesn’t suit the way the manager wants to play, then yes it does mean that the manager could write a player off. You’d slag Ole off for not having an ethos or way of playing (which is fair), but then criticise Southgate for picking defenders according to how he wants his team to play. |

easy to answer: me. pretty much the same shit happened to me 5 years ago. i did insult them because they fucked us infront of our own door. they started to beat my girlfriend infront of her kids. got arrested. next day got dragged to a prosecutor where a cop declared i tried to kick him in his head while he was holding down my girlfriend. got sentenced to 24 months probation plus fines. obviously contested it. won the trial after 2 years and going to a higher court. left me with +10k shit money to pay and fucked my whole life since then. so yeah...maguire will need some more shit to actually get jail time. no comparison here between his money/backing etc and me but forget about jail time. Jeez. That's me never going to Greece again. Forgot to mention that my story happened in Switzerland not in Greece |

Because that's totally a thing that happened.
