Need to alter my dream and put either Rashford or Martial in. Decisions decisions. Begrudgingly have Pogba in aswell so would like to see him exit his finger from his arse aswell. Could be a good week for mine if all things go to plan I bought Maggy before his move so I've got 4 Utd players in. Martial, Rashers, Maggy and AWB.👍

15/20 minutes at least/most. Give him an opportunity to get into the game but protect him as well. I'd say there is an argument for having that change scheduled regardless of match situation too. When Gomes features in an academy game, he is mercurial, they can't get near him, but I also haven't seen him receive the brute ruthlessness of cynical tackles and barges that happen in the prem. Gomes is talented but he's tiny. Hopefully we can go on long runs in each cup so that players like him, Garner, Greenwood, Chong, et al., get minutes. Their game play is excellent but I think the physical differences are overwhelming, literally men against boys. players are well protected nowadays and any touch in the box is a pen pretty much. Gomes isn't going to get any taller so we trust his abilities, which he will believe he has, or we let him go. he needs to start playing regularly imo he has such good control and vision in the final 3rd that we desperately lack plenty of 19 year olds are doing well across Europe atm and he will be backing himself

A comfortable 3-0 win would be lovely. Lack of Lingard would also be lovely.
Same team as Monday except Fred and Pereira/Greenwood for Lingard and James.

Never seen Gomes have trouble physically. He struggled at the start of last season and it didnt surprise me he wasnt being considered for the first team. Hes done a great job in the last 12 months though. Looks ready for anything, but I believe he would be a great choice to get out to the Championship for a year.

Never seen Gomes have trouble physically. In the preseason games where no one really tackles?

Never seen Gomes have trouble physically. In the preseason games where no one really tackles? Don't forget the huge amount of 27 minutes he's played combined for the first team.

Love Ole, love his positive outlook but I'm sorry I don't agree with this 2 penalty takers bullshit. You have one taker, if he misses them or isn't playing you move on but until then you stick with one. Having two creates problems like Monday night. Fucking ridiculous. Also after Monday Pogba shouldn't be anywhere near a penalty. Nothing to do with whether it was a poor penalty or a cracking save (happened to be both anyway) but the fact he's now missed 4 this year alone and now has the worst conversion rate in the leagues history over players taking more than 10 penalties. If or when Rashford misses it should be Martial (who takes a good penalty anyway). Needs to stop being so fucking nice all the time and giving into certain players. No matter what Pogba does he seems to get away with it. Piss moor performance, lack of effort, coming out with the shit he did in the summer with that dickhole of an agent. I meant come on ffs.

Must admit you could see he wasn't impressed with Lukaku during that presser but fair play for him being the bigger man, which you'd expect anyway. Aslong as Rashford is then there's no issue but if Pogba is anywhere near another penalty anytime soon then its ridiculous.
