AWB may be out too apparently. That’d leave the full backs as two of Jones/Rojo/Young. Don’t we have anyone in the reserves who could step up? Should also add Axel, he can play RB. |

Fuck it, stick the kids in. Expect ‘Nemanja’ and Juan Mata in the middle of the park tomorrow. One can’t run and literally moves like a JCB reversing and the other has lost at least a yard or two of pace. The chickens are coming home to roost because the hierarchy fobbed us off during the summer window. Haven’t even reached a half dozen games in the Premier League yet and we’ve a threadbare squad- season is practically screwed already, just ridiculous. Rant over. |

I can't decide on what's crazier - how thin our squad is, or that some people in the club's management believed that the squad is capable of competing this season.

Means nothing. People want to see him gone and replaced with a new player or players, not gone and replaced with Matic. At the very least people might better appreciate the difference when he is there vs. when he isn’t. Unless we play well of course! Yes, cos he's been outstanding so far hasn't he. |
