Thought that Rashford one he missed was unlucky really. Inside of the post too, it’s a fraction away from being the perfect pen. Not like he skied it. Even still there is no excuse what so ever for missing the target from 12 yards out. Was a worse penalty than Pogba's against Wolves, at least that produced a decent save from Patricio. Not gonna give the lad shit for it but shouldn't be missing the target. Disagree. I’d rather a player hit the inside of the post than have the keeper save it. Least it’s somewhere near to a corner. Ultimately they both missed so it doesn’t matter. |

Love the fact we got a clean sheet even though it meant we didn’t score as many goals as I’d like. I think that will be the main issue for Ole to address when Pogba returns. The purists in us want to see United playing free flowing attacking football, which we did in parts of the 1st half, but that will come at a sacrifice of leaked goals and insufficient protection for the back 4, if Pogba as expected returns to partner McT. We look far more assured in the back with McTominay and Matic/Fred. If we can go on a run of 1 or 2 nil wins, I’d be far more happy with that at this stage even if some aspect of the entertaining football is sacrificed. We need to be pragmatic and practical, which means top 4 at all costs so that we can add to the rebuild next summer.

1st time in 10 years at a game and normal service was resumed , united won city lost. I should go more often
I forgot how you totally get a different perspective than on tv
Awb is exceptional, James is lightening and will be exceptional. McGuire is solid and brings leadership
Still dont think rashford is an out and out centre forward. Creativity in midfield lacking which didn't help him
Young and matic started well but faded second half
Lindelof had a couple of moments
Generally not a bad performance but worrying how few chances we created
Onwards and upwards
