Barely watched any of it as it was genuinely the worst day I've had finding a river in years. Big result though with the injuries.

Mata disappointing today for me. He might be done at this level. Gomes is waiting in the wings, give him the start. |

Hats off to big Vic with so much pressure on him having a massive rebound performance. Huge brainfart in the first 5. Much improved afterwards Still dodgy in the air |

Had we converted those 2 missed pens we'd currently be sitting in 2nd place. Fine margins. A clean sheet and result today shouldn't be sniffed at. We were missing some big players, Have to learn how to win ugly and today we did it.

We defended really well. Leicester were poor in the final third, which helped. I like Matic playing certain games. He’s calm enough on the ball but an hour is his limit. We still lack any dynamism going forward, though.In all, more positives than negatives from that. IMO. In a higher reality, Kevin de Bruyne can only manage to make the bench today for city. |

3 points are all that matters.
Matic shouldn't play more than 60 mins and Mata shouldn't come on until the 60th minute. Both are quite clearly done at this level.

That may have been Scott’s best game for Utd. Really good stuff. Paris away for me was his real stand out performance, but i agree it was really good stuff from him. I get that at times he will go missing in games but these types of performances show what is to come from him when he is more consistent I think we all forget how young he is. |

If and I mean if only we had done what many banged on about this summer and bought a defensive mid.
Watching Scott today him next to a rice would be great as i’d Push pogba further up (sell next summer and get a real 10 in).
Nice how vic and maguire worked today, if shaw can get fit and stay fit and ddg signs up and regains that form then that back 5 is at the level we need and one to build on.
Use January and summer to get the first 11 on point and subsequent summers can be used for smart buys like James in that they are talented, young hungry, right price and will push

I get that at times he will go missing in games but these types of performances show what is to come from him when he is more consistent I am not getting at you but I don't really understand how you think McT has gone missing in any game. He has probably been our most consistent player bar maybe AWB. Always coming to collect the ball. Always trying to win it back. Maybe he looked aesthetically more pleasing today because he was able to venture forward in the pairing with Matic? In the pair with Pogba it is quite the opposite, yet he always gives a good account of himself at least from my perspective. |

Chong started off like Bebe but slowed it down and did well. Matic has no business starting any more, Fred gives us everything he does and more pace and bite. Matic was a genuinely great CDM but his race is run now well and truly. Fred and McT should be tried vs Astana. Fred genuinely looked solid today and that's a tough midfield to battle Literally had to think about what you meant with this. Then realised we're not playing at the big boys table and who it was  |
