By the way, don’t get me wrong. I’d love us to win this. It’s just the ridiculous situation in terms of our squad in that the powers that be didn’t actually fully replace the players who left. I don’t want to be a moaning git believe me but we’ll get found out eventually. I think that’s already happened or happening. Apologies Stew, that’s what I meant. I think my brain has been fried after 11 days of sun on holiday in Croatia. lol. |

Some newer members on here may not believe it, but I was probably one of the most positive posters on here back in the Times when we were an actual football club. So it gives me no pleasure to say that that might be the worst line-up I’ve seen Utd put out in a league game (that wasn’t a dead rubber) since the 1980s.

So it gives me no pleasure to say that that might be the worst line-up I’ve seen Utd put out in a league game (that wasn’t a dead rubber) since the 1980s. What’s incredibly annoying for me is Matic starting. He’d a pop at Ole on social media for not getting game time recently and he’s got the movement of a dying snail in midfield. ‘Nemanja’ deserves to be nowhere near the first team, I’d bring in the youth, no question. |

We know what Matic is. We don’t know what we have in Fred or more so Garner. Leicester will fly past Matic all afternoon. It’s a dreadful lineup, devoid of anything approaching excitement bar James and AWB’s quiet excellence. A start for Greenwood would have at least got the crowd excited. We go a goal down today and the atmosphere will be toxic. |
