See how we start the game before I decide how we'll do. Players actually turning up is half the battle. Do that and we'll have our chances. I don’t buy this. I don’t buy the whole ‘The players never showed up’. It’s a convenient excuse. It’s a throw back to when we were the better side in 90% of the games because of our squad. Players turn up in the sense they are almost always giving their all when they’re out on the pitch. The issue is talent. Right now Leicester probably have as much if not more of that than we have, even at full strength. If we lose today (unless it’s outrageous bad luck or a ref nightmare) it’ll be because Leicester were better than us, not because we didn’t run around enough. |

we are missing pogba, martial and shaw, i expect us to still deal with leicester.
The players need to have this mentality as if we don't i genuinely think the task at hand in getting back to the top will become mental as much as talent.

It's a lack of depth of talent and a very unbalanced squad. That's a fact, the attitude and effort has been decent I know he wasn't, the Palace game in particular was down to a lack of effort. We were dire in that game. Squad depth is a problem so cant be too critical but they should be performing better. |
