In all seriousness though, astro turf pitches are a nightmare. A misplaced tackle here or there and the consequences could be dire.

It certainly won't help, but there's a likelihood it exacerbates any injuries & pains they already have. Plus it's a lot easier to get injured on artificial pitches, particularly ligament injuries resulting from cutting. I was trying to be funny 😂 But yeah, I know there is a difference, so it may be better to throw out the reserves if we are worried 5 of them could get more hurt! Christ especially Rashford Reserves ? How would we know the difference? |

Saw some whinging online from United fans about the kick-off time of 17:55 on a Thursday and the fact that we're not playing in the Prem until Sunday.
This is what happens when you don't fucking qualify for the Champions League!

I really don't get that. At all.
How is Thursday-Sunday any different to Wednesday-Saturday? You get the same amount of days off? People never moaned about it then.
The only benefit is playing Tuesday-Saturday, Tuesday-Sunday or Wednesday-Sunday.
If the precious fuckers on the pitch are that concerned about having to play every 3 days, perhaps they should have done their fucking jobs better ffs.
As for the fans moaning, I'd wonder whether they even go to games, as playing Thursday is alot easier to plan around for those attending, given you don't have to go back to work on Saturday, whereas a Tuesday/Wednesday game leaves you having to work Thursday/Friday.

Fair enough if you work Mon-Fri, a game on a Sunday is a pain. But we only played 3 more Sunday games in our Europa league winning season, than we did in the Treble season. And only 2 more Sunday games compared to our last title winning season. So it's hardly a massive change/difference. |
