Going to this one. Been to the game once before - we were in good form going in but drew 1-1 with a late Zlatan header rescuing us. Hopefully this is better, but I expect it won't be. It's going to be a long journey home...

If ever there is a game to gather our shit it's this. It will paper over cracks should we do it but at least it would be expensive shiny paper we do it with.
Silver lining being we should have a few players back by then.
Having one over on this species will do the world of good for their confidence.

Unless my memory is failing me, Jose was sacked following a defeat to them. I'm quite certain Ole will be sacked if we lose this. I can't even imagine how happy their disgusting fans will be if two consecutive managers will be fired following games against them.
If we have a strong squad for this (as in, relative to what we fielded in recent games), I can see us bursting their bubble. In my opinion, the one thing they really have right now is a lot of confidence - they aren't that good and us coming as clear underdogs should be positive on this occasion.

Liverpool are riding their luck but we are playing like a bunch of strangers all too nervous to break the ice and hoping the next guy will do it.

It'll be boring. We've been shit for years and still the scouse generally struggle against us. 3 of the last 7 have been 0-0. There won't be more than 2 goals. Either 0-0, 1-1 or 0-1.
