Also thought Fred was very good today as well. Let me guess, we drew because of him? Gutted with this result but overall the boys did us proud. One mistake cost us. Still the first to take the points from those cunts. . Vodka woooooo He was shit at the start but fair play to him he kept plugging away and ended up being effective. But he's a squad player (for the U23s), not for a supposed top United team. After watching it. Fair point. Frustrated that we should have won this.

What is young sling for their goal. Dog shit. Lack of decent subs killed us there. Martial should have game on earlier. Don’t understand why he didn’t make decisions sooner He never does. He’s always late with the subs.

I don't have an issue with Fred today, I don't think he cost us the game in any way. I don't think anybody has been overly critical of him.
Worked his socks off and never stopped but he is so lacking in quality on the ball and seemingly needs an hour when in possession. If this is his level then it's simply not good enough long term but we're so lacking in options that he probably should be playing at the minute because of his energy.

Thought we would get battered so draw ok but next game we will probably get beat
We are where we are everyone in the club is to blame from owners to Ed to ole.
Won't change till radical root to branch change in the club
Been watching sky how much does gary hate sourpuss
Still like Jose when he's not all bitter and twisted
Roy just said just go and buy harry kane , they all laughed and he just looked at them all only as Roy Keane can. love it

It’s not like Spurs are riding high themselves.

I wouldn’t blame him for dropping 2 points, and no doubt he worked hard. Pressured their midfield and didn’t let them have much time or space. But the lad was brought in because he was great on the ball for Shaktar, and he’s completely lost any semblance of that ability. McTominay already does what Fred is doing and he does it better. We need a midfielder who can consistently play penetrating forward passes and Fred can barely pass it sideways. I said in the summer we needed 2 midfielders but honestly it might be 3 now. Woodward makes an illusion in his interview in United We Stand* that we only ever aim to sign three players in a summer. Tallies with our past few. Stupid rule, but if it is the rule there’s a decent chance all 3 will need to be CMs next year, especially if Pogba goes. *I’ll post pictures of this tomorrow evening probably. It’s only the first prt of a 2 part interview, so if anyone can get the second part before the next home game that’d be great. Mitten goes harder than I thought but doesn’t focus too much on the ownership, more the flaws in recruitment.

That said, I’ve thought for a while Real should be all over Kane (especially if they get Eriksen) and if we compete with them I’d expect them to beat us to him.

The reason why this feels mostly underwhelming to me is that we played at home and more than anything, it seemed like we tried to stop them from playing their game than us trying to play our game.. but then again, what even is our game? I think all things considered it was a very even game, with a bit of luck it's 2:0 before they score and we win it comfortably. Our defense is still not good enough for us to afford to take the foot off the gas at 1:0, it cost us 3-4 times this season already. Also, Lindelof was a small hand-ball away from another potentially game-changing error - he's regressed to his 1st season form under Ole. 32% possession at home. If you win it's tolerable but to concede a shitty late equaliser we might as well have at least tried to stay on the front foot.

He doesn’t seem to have much of a plan B (a charge often levelled at Pep and Klopp too, but they’re good at tweaking Plan A at least, which Ole doesn’t have the squad for.)
