Who was lauding Mourinho? Seriously? Nobody had a bad word to say about him in the last week, plenty ignoring the shit he did when here and just talking about how well he'd have one with the right setup. Well that play from Ole at the end is exactly what Jose would've done in that situation. If you want to play whataboutery this time last year we drew 0-0 with Palace and had more points in the League. People were calling for Jose to be sacked. (I may have been one of them.) This year scraping a 3-3 draw against a newly-promoted side having thrown away an undeserved comeback lead is 'progress'.

So Ole in the presser used a comparison to last seasons team as a justification for today's utter shit show. Good lord Ole you're not making it easy.
Also doesbt matter if we scored 3 or 10. We were shit, that needs to be addressed in instead of excused with more bullshit.
Martial, Lingard, Pereira, Fred, Jones can be dropped for the Villa game for all I care. Was a woeful, lazy performance from all of them. Start punishing these under achieving gobshites instead of letting them get away with it all the time.

Honestly boggles my mind why he took an about-turn with that last change. Did he feel comfortable at 3-2? Most managers would see they've got them completely rattled and go for the jugular. Such is the fickle nature of the football fan he could have made an attacking change, lost the goal and we’d all be on here complaining that he didn’t go more defensive. He didn't need to make any change, I think is the point. It's certainly mine.

20 points behind the League leaders after 13 games. Fucking joke. It’s all about the rebuild. Apparently.

He said last season we'd have probably completely folded and lost by 4 or 5 like the Everton game. How is that in any way a justification for today's performance. He also stated that we weren't good enough for most of the game as well.
At least tell the full story.

Who cares how we would have done last season though, don't see what it has to do with the performance today. Pulling goals back is irrelevant which is the point he's trying to make, He's trying to make out we've improved when we haven't, that's what I mean by justification. Yes we scored 3 but we were shocking for 83 of those minutes and unfortunately he was partly to blame for that. We haven't improved this season any more than we did after he got the full time job. Our away record is a perfect example of that. He'd be an idiot not to say that about that game, he had no choice but to admit we weren't good enough. I like Ole and want him to succeed but these pressers are getting dull now. Every single one has some bollocks in it. He's becoming more and more deluded by them aswell which I hate seeing.

Pretty sure Simeone and co were given money.
Or did Joao Felix pay for his own transfer? Free rebuilds and all that.
Still, carry on thinking all this will be solved by a new manager.

He's able to have a balanced opinion, we were shit but showed some desire and determination to get back into it which we might not have done in the same situation at the end of last season. Don't understand what is wrong with that?
So what did you want him to say then? Be ultra negative about it all and do the kind of shit Mourinho got panned for last season?
The contradictions from most of you lot are just laughable from post to fucking post.

Na I heard athletico was run by a load of cunts who didn't give a fuck about the club had a fucking dickhead running the football side of things, and had a shit squad, with some players having been there for the 4 previous managers, but other then that you can see the similarities tho.

Im not contradicting myself at all. I'm saying it as I see it. I don't want him to be negative at all which is ironic because that negativity added to costing us the game. I just don't get what comparing us to last season achieves, I'm focusing on the overall performance as a game lasts 90 minutes not 7. We showed fight for all of 7 minutes. Had those lazy bastard's on the pitch done their jobs in the first place we wouldn't have been in that position. I'm still firmly behind Ole so there's certainly no contradiction from me. I just don't see after that shit show how comparing us to last season helps when overall we're in a worse position atm.
