club legend is a bit strong. on his day he was top class. but also he was one of the most frustrating players ive ever seen. that being said he came in when we were brilliant and he got criticised as he wasn't to the level of lets say Ronaldo who he came in to "replace".
he would certainly walk into our team atm though

1000%. Nani is a club legend to me. Gave everything for this club, never complained and was a fucking good footballer. Nah, he was a good footballer and a good servant to the club, but that's about it. You can't put him in the same bracket as Charlton, Best, Robson, Cantona or Giggs. Of course they are not the only ones. I could list 15-20 players probably but that is the standard to be a legend at this club and he hasn't reached it. And I really liked him. |

I don't mind saying Nani has accomplished a hell of a lot more with his ability than Pogba (so far). At least for this club. I couldn't care less what Pogba does elsewhere, but for this club, what Pogba has accomplished is absolute fuckall. Forget that. He's barely put in the effort either. What each have accomplished or not is not my point My point is both have/had the ability but Nani didn't reach his full potential at the club when he was here and neither has Pogba. The reasons are irrelevant. I'm just saying both have/had the ability to be world class, but neither for whatever reasons have reached it at united. That's my point. |
