Thing is, where's the creativity in that side? Fred has had some good games this season but only in a defensive/harrying sense, he's never actually looked creative. McTominay obviously isn't. Not fair to expect the front 3 to create something for themselves every game especially vs. a side of this quality managed by Jose. So is it Lingard? Woefully inadequate.

Poor lad Williams. Comfortably our best LB but one mistake and the manager hooks him off for a guy who should not be playing there. Ole is a fucking coward. "Youth." Fuck off. Lampard should have hooked his entire team off after getting smashed by us then eh...

Love seeing Jose happy with our lads. He had to go at the end but happy Jose is one of my favourite managers, and I still like him overall (likewise Louis and Ole tbf).

It could easily just be that he wants to rotate ahead of a big Christmas schedule or Williams is a bit tired. Or maybe Williams’ confidence is shot after his mistake and Ole thinks he just needs a moment out the spotlight. If Williams doesn’t play in our next 2 games (assuming no injury) after this then I’ll be 100% with you. |
