Maguire has fixed fucking nothing. And he somehow is fucking captain. Cos he is the best option we have. You can't blame Maguire on Lindelof regressing either. Maguire looks a better option than Lindelof ever has. I'm not blaming Lindelof's problems on Maguire at all. I'm saying that Maguire, for that much money is proving absolutely ordinary. I haven't seen the value for that much money at all.

What did Ole say in his post match presser ? 'Delighted with the application and work rate of the boys. David was a little unlucky to let that first goal in but every great 'keeper has the occasional bad luck. We were actually a bit hard done by today I thought. If Jesse puts his chance away at 0-0 I think we go on to win the game. He's so unlucky not to score there by the way. Brilliant effort. Happy for Paul to get a run out - fit at last! He's had a tough run with injury. We're glad he's back because we need him but we've coped okay without him. Great addition back into the playing squad.' 🙄 Well that's soul crushingly standard from him.

Since signing RvP to get the goals to win the title, when has any ambition been shown? The only ambition is to keep signing commercial partners. There is no requirement to invest in improving the squad as long as the cash keeps coming in. Lukaku, Pogba, Sanchez, Fred, Maguire, AWB. That’s some serious cash. Add the dross brought here by LVG and Jose and that is some series revisionism. We have spent the best part of a billion on the wrong players, with no real strategy and vision for the football side of this club. The billion quid is the biggest pile of bollocks going. Just like we spent £150 million this season? Players are sold to fund signings, with a bit of tokenism. The self-proclaimed wealthiest club in the world, having a transfer kitty of £75 million is a piss take. Ogden was roundly derided for saying we were not spending more than £100 million this summer. He gave them too much credit.

Maguire is the best option we have. He isn't and wasn't worth 80mill. But he is still our best CB atm. We could have had him for 20mill less last summer too but still...

Dave made a howler but lets face it he's not the reason we lost. The whole team was shite, boils down to being wasteful and not having a clue what they're doing. True. But there was a time when we technically only needed to score 1 goal cos we were tight at the back. Ah I remember those days...they were good.

Tough to understand results like this and how unmoved so many of these players are. This group has failed Ole every single time there was an opportunity to get close to the top.
Regardless of whether or not Ole remains our manager, there are too many players in the club right now who don't have the character to be here. Talent isn't enough. I can't believe I say this, but we should look to offload the likes of Martial, Shaw, and Pogba (not to mention Lingard, Periera, and several others). If we do stick with Ole, unless we sign in January the type of players clubs typically only sign in the summer, I struggle to imagine how he will last until the end of the season.

We are level on points with fucking Newcastle after exactly half the season. Incorrect.

Put aside people's thoughts on ole and that. But the fact a club of this size hasn't made a change(rightly or wrongly) is alarming after this seasons performances and our current standing in the table.

Seriously I am fuming, this inconsistency is absolutely crazy! How are we heavily linked with a striker when we can’t create?? Penny wise puns foolish! Absolutely crazy club, pathetic on every level. Got time for ole but he is not the manager we need right now, I just can’t see it. Stats, results all just diabolical.

Still think our best partnership at the back is Maguire and Axel. Lindelof has regressed massively.
Shaw is close to done for me. His legs have gone, he was easily passed on a few occasions.
If only our players have the commitment and desire wan Bissaka does. The guy is one of not our best player so far this season. He's been immense.

Newcastle, Sheffield, and Burnley have all won more matches in the PL than us.

We are now that game raising club we used to complain about. Absolutely pathetic. I suppose one plus was getting Pogba back. We looked much better with him out there.

Mctominay doesn’t look for the ball either. Seems uncomfortable with the ball at feet in the middle. I know we all like the kid but that has started to concern me.
