Still nothing on McTominay. I’m really fearing the worst for him. I’d be extremely gutted for him if it’s season ending, he deserves much better luck.

Maybe some people don’t get sucked into thinking all is good again after a win? Always happy to win but this rollercoaster ride will go down again, unless some are naive ? Greenwood’s progress is keeping me interested this season but not a lot else is. Almost half the points that the scousers have at Christmas isn’t what most United fans were hoping for. You need to learn to enjoy something when you get it or the next decade is just gonna be misery for you. I think we all realise this isnt a turning point but getting a win after the horror show at Watford and on my favourite day of the year is welcome. If you want to see what a hopeless lot look and sound like, have a look at Arsenal supporters. Do you really want us to become bunch of bellowing knobheads like them? 10 years of that would make me take up golf. I hope we are a much bigger club than Arsenal and no I can’t accept or get used to this, I don’t expect United win all the time and certainly don’t expect us to win the title each year but falling well short isn’t acceptable to me.
