How many times does Lingard need to be taken off and for us to improve instantly to show Ole he isn't good enough. Same is starting to be said for Shaw.
Sad part is Ole will probably just focus on the fact we were "better in the 2nd half" instead of focusing on the real issues.
These wins against the top sides are brilliant. But they mean fuck all if we can't win the others. Its just papering over cracks and giving everyone false hope that we've turned a corner.
I wouldn't be so pissed off this was just down to it being an "off day". But its not. This is becoming a regular occurrence now. Teams are shutting us down by lining behind the ball (ok that's difficult to get past), but Chelsea, Liverpool, City all manage to find ways. We are one dimensional to even begin to comprehend doing it.

Well, back to Earth with a bump.
Usual shite, far too many passengers in the team; Shaw is done, I'd be fine with seeing him gone in the summer, Lingard continues to offer absolutely nothing, I refuse to believe for one second that Gomes would be a worse option than him, no wonder the kid is fucking off.
Maguire has done exactly what most people said he would, been about 5% better than our existing list of defenders, and considering we're talking about being a little bit better than Phil Jones or Marcos Rojo, that's a pretty fucking low bar. Utter waste of 80M quid.
Pogba, less said the better. Nice and convinient for him that his new injury rules him out of January, so he doesn't have to get his boots dirty whilst the utter twat of an agent tries to get him a new club. I'm honestly in two minds whether to force him to stay and let him rot in the stands, or just get on the phone to Real now and tell them "Give us Isco and 50M and he's all yours".
Anyway, lets plod on again. At least it's January now so we can all have some sensible, sane and reasonable discussions in the transfer window thread.
