New lad - in suffering and need of much therapy!

Afternoon lads, 

I have posted on another page but Ratbag kindly routed me this way............

So to introduce myself, I'm 41, black hair, beard and hung like a.........sorry wrong forum!😉

Sorry, shit attempt at a joke but i am 41. Been following united since i was 4 or 5 years old after being brainwashed by my uncle and older brothers. I'm not a Manc born and bred but only live a couple of hours away which unfortunately means i have to travel up the M f*uckin 6 to get to OT. 

I didn't really have anyone to take me to OT when i was a kid so didn't get up to OT until i was a teenager but through the 80's i remember the cup finals and the mid table finishes etc and to date we now seem to have come full circle, flirting with mediocrity again!  

first game for me was at Home to Everton just after Sir Matt had passed away, still get a lump in my throat now thinking about that day and the lone piper leading the players out! How we didn't wrack up a cricket score  i will never know! Cantona was out of this world that day as well!! very fitting......

Anyway, how the hell do we find ourselves here after 26 years of dominance with the greatest manager of all time to now be landed with this bunch of gutless wonders! 🙈

Bring back Roy Keane!

Hopefully you will find some like minded people here...I think we are all in despair at where we find ourselves at the moment...

I don't believe that Ole is the one to take us back up to where we belong...at the top!

So, I am hoping that Poch or someone similar will be available when we do the inevitable...

We have so much deadwood to clear out and so much recruitment to do...it does feel like a longer term project...

Think i would take Poch, although i'm not sure he'll be able to coach these toe rags either

It's defo a long term project, at current rate of spending and player numbers coming in it's going to take at least 5 years before we even have a decent squad, let alone challenge for the title.

I do fear though that we face another 20 year spell in the wilderness! 🙈
