Bruno has doubled his salary signing a new 5 year deal after a terrible season. Just how we roll! Really? We’d be far worse if it wasn’t for him. He’s not the one to point to as an example of our incompetence, it’s in fact a minor miracle he’s decided to extend his contract with us.

Bruno has doubled his salary signing a new 5 year deal after a terrible season. Just how we roll! Bruno hasn’t pulled up any trees this season but he is still one of the few players that we need to keep and build the new team around. bruno,Dave, sancho varane,Elanga along with one of McFed,dalot and telles as squad players but to be upgraded later. The rest should be phrased out ASAP

The right thing to do would have been to let the manager decide on all contract issues.

Probably longer. And he wanted Ole to stay.

He knew Ole had hit his limit. quite simply Bruno has been amazing for us but as you say he has been very poor recently, i fully expect a return top form next season though

That new manager would be an idiot. He's been off the boil this season, but is still by and large our most productive player in terms of chances created etc etc...

It's almost worse if that was insincere. His deal wasn't going into a final year, why have we done this now?

His wages compared to a few that should have no business at this club is relatively low too

If we're backing the new manager we have to back whatever he says. We have, but we were talking the likes of Jones, Lingard, Mata and Matic. Not Bruno who's essentially dragged us by the scruff of the neck to a European final almost single handed. If ever player had enough credit in the bank to be given the benefit of the doubt, it's him.
