Hoping this is on the right board... but wondering does anyone on here play or coach football at an amateur level, I mean like Sunday league?
I used to and after my knees gave up I went into coaching at youth level and now managing at senior. Since I played the commitment and attitude of players has changed, no longer do most players make themselves available every week, only a select few are interested in training twice a week and getting them to attend social events is almost impossible.
Does anyone else have similar experiences and have you managed to overcome any of these issues?
