I wanted matic sold this summer as I thought he was done, but he really turned it around pre pandemic, I actually think as a DM matic is our best option for the role, especially with pogba and Bruno playing together Yeah, Matic has definitely turned it around after looking completely done a while back. Not saying it's the wrong call, just that it's a real shame Fred and McTominay have been dropped despite doing nothing wrong. Last season I also thought Matic was done because of his age, he was terrible. But he came back and looked outstanding for the past 6 months or so. Just shows you how every single player can have bad patches and you never know if it's down to prior injuries, just bad form, personal problems etc |

Wasn't there some news last summer that we didn’t go full in for Bruno because he is losing the ball so often?
To be honest, I can see some truth in that as he really gives the ball away a lot. But it's also clearly obvious why that is actually the case. Because he simply tries, he takes risks, he is innovative. Sometimes it doesn't pay off, other times it does. Rather have a player like him who gives the ball away while trying again and again, instead of someone who doesn't try at all
