We should just do the right thing and give VdB back to Ajax. Going from a team who's confident in possession and willing to play with an element of risk, to us, who are the complete opposite and crumble under pressure. He was stood there asking for the ball on so many occasions, yet these useless fuckwits just pass it backwards everytime. I think our players are just stupid in their way of seeing the game. Not sure if it makes sense but you see players like Mata, Fernandes, VdB and it's like they are playing a different sport. |

This is VDB chance to impress and hes had almost zero influence on this game. Very poor in possession so far. What the fuck are you watching? Each time he's been in a difficult situation he's typically had very good feet and retained possession with some neat passes. Hes done alright but hes had no real influence on the game. Im pretty sure he will be replaced soon. |

Stick him in a Guardiola team and he'd shine. |

Martial had been much more involved. Martial would naturally be more involved to an extent, as Greenwood was out wide. But Martial has consistently disappointed in the moments that have actually mattered tonight, more than one poor decision or touch in/around their box. |
